ABOUT ME

Owner, Ronnie Kenyatta MS,CSCS,PES,CES

My name is Ronnie Kenyatta, and I am the Founder of the Integrated Athletic Development Program. As a Strength and Conditioning Coach with over 12 years of experience in the NY Mets Organization as the Assistant Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, I’ve dedicated my career to helping athletes achieve their full potential.

My journey began in adolescence when I faced seemingly harmless panic attacks. As I grew older, these attacks intensified, severely impacting my health and career. In 2002, I was diagnosed with FSGS, a chronic kidney disease that required a transplant. In 2017, I was blessed with a kidney from my childhood friend, Liam Pelot.

Throughout this journey, I questioned why this disease affected me and why I constantly felt fear and anxiety. My studies in Chinese medicine revealed that emotions are connected to our organs, and fear is tied to the kidneys. This realization marked the beginning of my mindset mastery journey.

After overcoming my illness, I understood the critical role our thoughts and emotions play in our health and lives. With a master’s degree in Exercise Science and my background as a former athlete and fitness enthusiast, I sought to help others conquer their mental and emotional challenges. I chose sports and performance training as my tools to empower athletes of all ages to achieve their goals both on and off the field.

The Integrated Athletic Development Program combines my expertise in physical conditioning with cognitive training techniques to create a holistic approach to performance enhancement . This program focuses on enhancing speed, strength, power, mobility, and stability, while also addressing the mental aspects of athletic development through visualization, affirmation, and positive self-talk.

Our mission is to help athletes stand out, maximize their potential, and perform effortlessly at their highest level. By integrating physical and mental training, we aim to create well-rounded athletes who are prepared to excel in all aspects of their sport and life.

I want to extend a warm welcome to all athletes joining the Integrated Athletic Development Program. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals.

5 Element Theory

Is a traditional Chinese philosophy that explains the interactions and relationships between five natural elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Each element represents different qualities and phases of transformation in nature and life.
